Training DVD

The Lee Spark NF Foundation have produced a training DVD on 'Severe Group A Streptococcal Infection'.

The DVD was put together with the help of survivors of necrotising fasciitis as well as Consultants, Microbiologists, Surgeons, Intensivists at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital. Everyone involved felt strongly about backing our campaign to raise awareness of necrotising fasciitis and hopefully save more lives in the future.

The DVD is a Training Module for 2nd or 3rd year medical students and is also aimed at educating general practitioners, microbiologists, intensivists, paramedics and other medical professionals. We provide copies of the DVD free of charge to medical trainees, NHS employees or any other genuinely interested party. If you would like to see the full DVD, please contact us.

The DVD was produced with grateful thanks to Carol and John Couchman who funded the making of this DVD after the tragic loss of their son Ross from a severe infection whilst having chickenpox.
